Puzzle Blocks Classic

Puzzle Blocks Classic combines classic block puzzles with a global leaderboard. Clear lines, use special blocks, and aim for a higher score.

Games Overview

Puzzle Blocks Classic combines classic block placement with a live global leaderboard, giving you another reason to keep improving your score. Plan where each piece belongs, clear rows and columns, and make the most of special features to keep the board playable for as long as possible.

Get To Know The Game Board

Before chasing a high score, take a moment to understand the information and controls on screen.

  • Score: Tracks the points you earn as you clear lines. Consecutive clears may build multipliers such as x2, x3, or x4.
  • Live Leaderboard: Shows your avatar and ranking alongside other players, letting you follow your position as you play.
  • Lightning Bar: This energy meter fills as you score points and helps unlock special features.
  • Swap Button: Lets you replace the current set of three blocks, although the number of available swaps is limited.

Keep The Board Open

  • The main goal is straightforward: drag blocks from the tray onto the grid and complete horizontal rows or vertical columns to clear them. The challenge comes from choosing placements that score points without leaving awkward gaps for future pieces.
  • As the board fills up, some shapes become harder to place. When none of the available blocks fits the remaining spaces, the game displays a red warning around the board and tray. Use the swap feature or the refresh option shown in the game, if available, to receive a new set of blocks and continue playing.

Make The Most Of Special Features

  • Beyond ordinary line clears, several features can affect how you approach the board.
  • Super Blocks: Once the lightning meter is full, special ice-covered blocks may appear in the tray. Clearing a line with these blocks can trigger a powerful effect that removes nearby cells and opens up more room.
  • Mystery Gold Tiles: Gold-colored cells appear on the board as bonus opportunities. Placing a matching block over one may award extra points or duplicate a shape, depending on the game's mechanics.
  • Placement Hints: When you're unsure where a block might fit, a faint outline can indicate a suggested position. Use it as a guide, but still consider how the placement affects the spaces left for your next pieces.

Build A Better Block Strategy

Try to clear lines while keeping enough open space for different shapes. Avoid filling the board with isolated gaps that are difficult to cover, and think about all three available blocks before committing to a placement. A move that clears a line now may not be the best choice if it leaves you with no room for larger pieces.
