Zip challenges you to connect numbered dots and fill every cell. Plan your path around walls to solve each tricky grid puzzle.
Game Overview
Zip is a logic puzzle that challenges you to connect numbered dots in the correct order while filling every cell on the grid. Walls block certain routes, so you need to plan each move carefully to reach the final number without leaving any cells uncovered.
How To Play
- The Main Goal: Start at Dot 1, draw a line through the numbers in sequence (1->2 ->3 -> 4...), color in every single empty cell on the grid, and finish at the highest number.
- Movement Rules: You can only move horizontally or vertically (no diagonal moves allowed). Once a cell is colored, you can't cross over it again.
- Watch Out for Walls: See those thick black lines between cells? Those are walls. You can't draw through them, so you'll have to plan a way around.
Simple Controls
On Desktop: Click and drag your mouse to trace the path.
Made A Wrong Turn? Backtrack And Try Again
- A path that looks promising at first may lead to a dead end or leave some cells difficult to reach. When that happens, retrace your previous moves and explore another route instead of starting the puzzle over.
- You can focus on finding a complete solution and work toward a better finishing time with each attempt.
Track Your Progress And Daily Streaks
- Once you finish a puzzle, you can review your completion time and check whether you used any hints. Zip Game also tracks consecutive days of play and gives you the option to share your results.
- Want to make a puzzle more challenging? Try solving it without hints and see how efficiently you can find the correct route. Your recorded times give you another goal to work toward as you tackle more grids.
Daily Boards And Unlimited Puzzles
Zip features a new Daily Board every day, offering a fresh challenge to solve. If you want to keep playing after finishing it, there are other ways to explore the game
- Play Unlimited: Continue solving randomly generated grids whenever you want. Different board layouts offer new paths to explore and problems to work through.
- Open the Archive: Revisit puzzles from earlier dates and give previously released boards another try.
Tips For Solving Zip Game
- Check the Corners: Corner cells have fewer possible ways in and out. Consider how to reach them before your path cuts off access.
- Study the Walls: Look for narrow passages and blocked connections before drawing your line. A wall can force you to take a longer route than expected.
- Keep Every Cell in Mind: Reaching the numbered dots is only part of the task. Your path must also cover the entire grid, so pay attention to spaces that could become isolated.
