Similar to Wordle, the objective of Blurdle is to guess a secret word within 8 tries. The player has the option of selecting a four- or five-letter term. Having to examine a wider variety of options due to the difference in word length is an additional barrier. When using Blurdle, you get eight guesses instead of the standard six you get when using Wordle. As a result, there's more room for inquiry and inference.
If you have no idea what the hidden word is, you can use the game's new "Autosolve" feature. You have the option of having the puzzle solved mechanically. You can choose whether or not to make use of this function, but just looking at it can be entertaining.
