Gameplay Overview

In Clueless Crossword, each word starts with pre-filled vowels, giving subtle hints while leaving the consonants blank. Players select letters from a 26-character alphabet at the bottom of the screen to complete the puzzle. Hovering over an empty block highlights all instances of that letter across the grid, making it easier to spot patterns. Clicking a block and selecting a letter places it in the puzzle, while mistakes can be quickly removed using the cross button next to the alphabet.

For added challenge, the game tracks your time in the top-right corner, introducing a competitive edge. If you get stuck, the Hint button reveals a letter—but each hint adds 20 seconds to your total time, encouraging strategic thinking and rewarding careful problem-solving.
