Welcome to one of the most dramatic PvP variations developed from the hugely popular Wordle wave. The game retains the familiar core mechanics: guess a five-letter word in up to six turns.
After each guess, the system provides hints using colored squares. Green indicates the correct letter and its position, while yellow indicates the letter is in the word but in the wrong position. If the square turns gray, the letter is not in the word.
However, the biggest difference lies in the PvP element. Instead of playing alone, you'll face off directly 1v1 against a random player online or invite friends to join. Whoever finds the answer faster wins!
Both players take turns guessing the same hidden word on a shared board, with each turn lasting for a limited amount of time. The most interesting part is that you can see your opponent’s clues as they appear on the screen. This creates an extra layer of strategy: you can try to mislead your opponent or carefully plan your own moves to solve the word before they do.
In Duel Mode, both players compete on separate boards while trying to solve the same hidden word. You do not have to worry about revealing your clues, but the time pressure is much more intense. Think fast, guess quickly, and solve the word before your opponent. Even a one-second advantage can be enough to claim the victory.
In Victordle Turn-by-Turn, knowing how to score does not always guarantee victory, but knowing how to set a trap can give you control of the entire game.
Remember: sometimes, giving your opponent a guess filled with gray tiles, with no correct letters at all, can be the ultimate mind game. It may leave them with fewer clues and force them to make the wrong moves, practically handing the victory to you!
