Backwordle is a unique variation on the popular word game Wordle. To succeed, you must first invert the Wordle problem. A five-letter target word indicating the solution appears on the screen, and below it is a grid of gray and yellow squares displaying your past guesses. Four inferences leading to the pattern presented above are your assignment.
With each new puzzle, you'll be given a head start by having all of the vowels in the target word displayed at once. The problems can be finished in any sequence that works best for you. The higher your score in Backwordle, the fewer guesses and wrong inferences you'll need to finish the puzzles. The player is given feedback on how accurate their guess was after making it. If you enter a wrong word, the game will tell you the letters you got right and then show you the one letter you got wrong, which will cost you a point.
If you look at the guesses that come after yours, you'll notice that the yellow letters (from before) are always included, but the gray (from before) letters are never. You can utilize the suggestion tool if you find yourself at a loss for words. This hint will help you, but it will cost you a point.
