One can have a lot of fun with just two people, X and O, playing game Tic Tac Toe Master. In this game, a 3x3 grid is used. To win, you need to score three in a row. In a standard game of X-first-starts-first tic-tac-toe, X goes first. However, in Gametable's version of the game, Player 1 goes first on the first game, and Player 2 (or the computer) goes first on the second game. Starting players keep switching places from game to game. This contributes to long-term game balance.
To play, players take it in turns placing their Mark (X or O) in an empty cell. In this game, the winner is the first person to make three of their own mark in a row in any direction. It's a tie if all 9 spaces are used up and neither player has three in a row.
