How to play

To win this game, you need to master the phonetic transcription of letters according to the IPA phonetic table. Different from regular word-guessing games, instead of predicting the usual 5-letter word, In this game, your task is to make predictions based on their pronunciation in North American English. If you're not yet proficient, use the CMU Pronunciation Dictionary for more information. Players will have up to 12 tries to find the phonetic transcription of a secret word. After each prediction, the system will send feedback on the accuracy of the answer.

• If the boxes turn green, the letter is in the correct position.
• If the boxes turn yellow, the letter is correct, but in the wrong position. Let's move it to another location.
• If the cells turn gray, you need to remove that letter because it doesn't appear in the target word.
